Get Social – My Weekly Content Schedule

Hey, everyone – It’s time for some updates!

I’ve been working on content behind the scenes since my last post announcing the new YouTube channel. I want to take a moment to give you some updates.

First, I want to say thank you to those decided to subscribe to the channel early! I genuinely appreciate your support and look forward to hearing your thoughts as we move forward.

Let’s start with my tentative weekly social media content schedule. 📅

Schedule

Monday:
Throughout the weekend, I often think about what and who inspire/motivate me, so I start the week off motivated. Therefore, I’ll post about motivation on Mondays. I know, I know, everyone does motivation Monday, but I think it’s for a good reason 🙂.

Tuesday:
I want to take time on Tuesday to be a bit more direct with you on life updates or other random thoughts. I’ll probably use this opportunity to ask your feedback on some video ideas as well!

Wednesday:
Mid-week check-in day! Think of this as a status update. It might just be me saying, “Hey, everything’s good. How’s your week going so far?”. It could be me talking through some technical or design-related challenges I’m facing.

Thursday:
[Nothing planned]

Friday:
New YouTube video! 🎉🎥

That is the schedule layout for now. Please do comment to share your feedback. Let’s move on to the planned series I’m working on at the moment.

Planned Series

A Programmer Reviews
Gear and software reviews. Simple, non-sponsored, honest reviews of my recent purchases.

A Programmer Talks
Higher level discussions about being in the tech industry, business value, product experience, etc. My intention here is to get out of the weeds to talk about the bigger picture, more important aspects of our work.

A Programmer Learns
I have many interests, some of which I do not have the opportunity to study and use during my day job. In this series, I’ll learn about topics of interest in the open. We’ll be going through tutorials, experimenting with sample projects, and possibly starting new open source projects as a result.

That’s all the updates I have for you today. As always, I’d love to hear your feedback! Part of starting this channel and community in the open is to give as many opportunities for feedback as possible. I’ll begin following this schedule soon!
